gave me more of an idea of what my blog posts could be to help serve clients I truly want to work with. I didn't have to worry about "would this sound like me" because you crushed it every time in my brand voice. I for sure think the investment was worth it and I can't wait to get you back on retainer.

I loved being able to hand everything over to you and not have to think about it until the end of the month. It allowed me to put my energy into other aspects of my business that I love. The investment was FOR SURE worth it, as now I have a beautiful blog page filled with all of my favorite work + SEO blogs to support. I couldn't recommend you enough to other photographers who just aren't great with writing / don't have time to do it / would rather focus on what they're great at.

It was super important to me to hire someone who felt like a friend and someone who understood me and my business needs. I love how she can get shit done while also being able to relate to her. It was so super important to me that I wasn't just hiring a random person for my business and i'm so happy I chose her. It's been a year since i've started working with her and I can't imagine my life and business without her.

Pinterest isn’t an algorithm, it’s a search engine, just like Google. So if you know what your ideal clients are searching for (which, I do), then your content will most likely show up for them. It’s as simple as that. Of course, you can go viral on Instagram or TikTok and get an influx of inquiries, and that’s literally not a bad thing. But for people who are all for the slow, sustainable, reliable growth over the volatility of Instagram or TikTok, SEO and Pinterest are the perfect combination.
The best way to increase SEO is by consistently publishing optimized blog content. 6 months is the LEAST amount of time we need to set a solid foundation for ranking on Google. And, again Pinterest is a long game, one that depends on consistency and unique content. And the first 3 months, we’re just trying to see what works! For the last 3 months, we’re sticking to a set strategy after collecting data from the first 3.
That heavily depends on how well your website copywriter was versed in SEO and if you’ve blogged at all in the past. If we’re starting from scratch, it can take up to a year for your blog posts to start considerably ranking on Google. Once your rankings start improving, it’s like a snowball effect from there.
If you’ve already been pinning on Pinterest and seeing results, then your growth will be MUCH faster than if we’re starting from scratch. It also depends on what location we’re targeting. Popular locations like the PNW, Southern California, national parks, and destinations have much higher search volume than less popular areas. That’s not to say you still can’t get traffic from those lesser-searched areas, but it might take a lot longer.
Within 6 months, you can expect to see anywhere from 50-500 outbound clicks to your blog posts per month.
Portfolio Blogs are short-form (between 300 and 600 words) written to showcase your galleries in a way that connects with your potential clients and does you favors with Google. Evergreen Blogs are long-form (between 800 and 3000 words) articles that are written to educate or answer a question. They perform particularly well on Google due to their high word count and target keywords.
Lemme give it to you straight up – you could absolutely go hire a virtual assistant to do Pinterest and Blogging for you for quite literally half of what I charge. And TBH, if that’s what you’d rather do, then go right ahead!
What I will tell you is that about ½ of my clients have come to me after already hiring countless VAs and consistently getting a not-so-great experience. And like… I’d rather you not have to go through that, you know?
Listen – I’m in this shit for the long run. I don’t win unless my clients win. This is why I LOVE working with my retainer babes on a long-term basis – because that’s when we see the best results. I work with wedding creatives who are extremely dedicated to their craft, and I like to think I mirror that same dedication and commitment in my own business, tysm.
I’ve been running this business for over four (!!) years now. I’ve been around the block, down the alley, taken some wrong turns, you name it. And the first three years (before I charged the Big Bucks) were dedicated to learning and experimenting with SEO, marketing, and copywriting strategies until I got that shit down-packed. And now? I get to lend an expert hand to wedding creatives who don’t wanna go through the rocky trial-and-error period of hiring someone less experienced.
If you haven’t already guessed from my insanely badass website… the vibes are VERY important to me. And the vibes with my clients give “If we lived in the same state we’d probably be meeting up for weekly brunch and yap.” I’ve had enough experience in this industry to know exactly what typa clients I love working with, and which ones I don’t. And I respectfully pass on the ones who don’t align with the brand ethos I’ve created (aka the ones who aren’t down to have a 20-minute catch-up session before diving into the Business Agenda).
"I’m rebranding and I need high-converting, SEO-loving website copy"
"I’m not ready for a full project, but I need somewhere to start"
